Really great quality. Just a heads up, order by scanning the QR on the table then upon checkout, you enter ur card details to pay on the spot :) pay as you order.
Had a wonderful experience at this self-service restaurant where they don't have service-charge. It gradually gets crowded by 7.30pm and its not too noisy, which makes dining here enjoyable. The decor is clean, bright and cheerful. The dishes were tasty and within expectations. Drinks menu could be improved.
First time visiting this as my spouse wanted to try their Jian Baos! The set of 6 baos in 3 flavours (Veggie, Normal & Chilli Crab) is a great choice as it allows a couple or two pax to sample three different flavours! We love how the jianbaos wonderfully combines fluffy baos with soup/tang baos and guo tie elements! Among all three baos the veggie one has the least juice but it’s not less tasty! My personal favourite is the Chilli Crab Jian Bao which was dripping with juice when my spouse bit into it. The Chilli crab flavour is wonderful and we enjoyed it. We also got a hot and sour soup, pork and veg dumplings soup and scallions noodles (cong you lamian which many locals are familiar with at places like Crystal Jade and Paradise). I like how the dumplings were decently sized. Though I wish the soup was a flavourful bone or richer meat broth. The scallion noodles were decent in flavour, taste and texture though those who are used to Paradise or Crystal Jade’s version may find the scallion flavour slightly lacking. Though the place says self service, the staff actually spontaneously brought our food and beverage to our table on multiple occasions as there isn’t much crowd on a Friday afternoon around 4pm.
