Singapore｜Bowl Chap

Reasonably priced for the portions. Tried the pork belly and lemongrass chicken. Both were yummy. You can choose either rice or salad as your base, or (even better) half rice and half salad. The lady at the cashier was always friendly and smiley. I think they have recently increased their prices.

Ordered the 12 hour braised apple pork dry ramen and aburi tonkotsu Mayo chicken karaage bowl set. The braised pork was superb! Flavors were excellent. The noodles were springy and well seasoned. That said, the “extra” raw salad on the bowl could be abit odd. For the tonkotsu, the chicken was lightly battered and fried to right amount of time. However, the combination of the vegetable to the bowl seems abit out of place. The side dishes, gyoza and falafel were great as well.

My wife and I were looking for a caterer to send lunch sets to our audience for our zoom wedding. We went to try bowl chap after hearing good reviews are were really impressed with their quality of food and decided to go ahead with commissioning them for the wedding lunch. And they really didn't fail to deliver (literally and figuratively). Everyone loved the lovely designs and the tasty food! Will definitely be back again :))
