Singapore｜Chuan Xiang Le 串香乐

This little restaurant served good chinese food helmed by Chinese staff who are polite and take pride in their work. Food is great, not too oily and salty for my taste. I liked their grilled fish as it's fresh and juicy. Main disadvantage of the place is that it is small and can only accommodate about 6 tables of 4 and you can hear the loud roaring stove noise from the kitchen non stop from their continuous to fulfill orders. Despite that, I already dined there a few times over the past 2 months. Will visit regularly.

Wonderful place to eat if you like hot and spicy mala stuff. Lots of menu items beyond the pick and cook items on display. Beer is reasonably priced and overall good value for money.

Finally tried this Resturant after reading the reviews. Verdict: the dishes were really nicely done and portions were just right for our family. Staffs there don’t upsell but will recommend according to what are the taste preferences within your family. Loved the tomatoes eggs, slice potatoes with sliced pork, egg fried rice, only thing was the rice was too soft taste was good. We tried the soup mala 中辣, was too spicy and their mala soup taste a little different from other stalls we have tried, the 小辣 we tried the stir fry set was okay, not super fantastic. Was okay. Like the non mala dishes better. Service was superb. Service crew kept coming to check on us, explained to us. He is always very smiley great service and food dishes. We Didn’t get to try other dishes as the main chef is stuck in china due to the recent lockdown measures in china. So their dishes menu has shrunk quite a bit. Overall I will be back with my friends to try.
