Singapore｜Ah Orh Seafood Restaurant

My favourite Teochew restaurant in Singapore. Could go easier on the MSG though, remember to ask them to use less or omit it totally (food still tastes great).

Very traditional Teochew restaurant that my grand uncle and grand aunt (both in their late 80s) approve. Food was delicious and my favourite dish was the horfun and ngohhiang. Horfun had a slight wokhey taste to it. NgohHiang has yam inside. I don’t really like the Sweet and sour pork as they had bones. Meal was about $180. All the dishes was surely above average and would definitely return if I’m around the area. Good food. Ambiance was clean, and old school. Recommended.

Kitchen prepare the dishes very fast! I had photoshoot for some of the menu, the chefs prepared 25 dishes in 1.5hrs I also get to tried their food after the photoshoot. Love their prawn roll, mian xian, Teowchew braised duck, orh nee and the sambal!!!
