Singapore｜Ah Pang Steamboat Seafood

Had steamboat dinner here and loved it! Nothing fancy like HDL and BITP, but sometimes it's so good to just keep things simple and no frills - no reservation needed (because who has the time when life gets busy in Singananas)? Ordered the 2 pax set at $40 which came with some fish slices, vegetables, mushrooms, fishballs, sotong, and a choice of either Chicken, Beef or Pork. There may have been other ingredients... but what was memorable was the heavenly soup which was sweet and somehow tasted like there is XO inside. Not too brothy or stuffed with collagen and other fluff - just the kind of soup that my grandmas used to make. Definitely no MSG here, perhaps uncle Roger would disapprove. Great service by staff who came by to top up the soup routinely. It's located in Mei Ling market but with everything you need for a simple steamboat - ladles, scoops and even free tissue without the service charge and GST. Certainly a perfect fuss free dinner setting after a long day.

ingredients were really fresh 👍🏼 and they have a really spicy chili dip!! The soup tasted great and doesn’t leave you feeling thirsty afterwards! Visited on a saturday after 7.30pm & the waiting time wasn’t very long. Worth visiting again!

Easily the best steamboat I ever had so far in Singapore. Although the food variety is not that wide, but it is good enough to conclude the steamboat experience is fantastic. Very affordable price, fresh ingredients, reasonable portion! My bill always ends up only about $50 for two pax. Highlights of the steamboat (not in accordance), 1. Homemade broth and it is very scrumptious! You will not feel thirsty no matter how much you drink it. (Free flow) 2. Homemade chilli sauce for dipping is arguably the best! (Free flow) 3. Staff service is very friendly and helpful. They are attentive to the needs and always roam around to ensure that your soup gets topped up. Accepted payment method: Cash, QR code, PayNow This is a free seating zone as it is in the hawker centre. Quite windy and open. Give it a try!
