Singapore｜Hungry Korean Restaurant

Ordered pork belly set , a usual dish I go for when in Korean BBQ restaurant around Tanjung Pagar. This "food court" dish is more expensive than your usual ones but it's also a lot more authentic with a good soy bean paste sauce and proper salad wrap veggies. The side dish is very little but tasted good. Comes even with a small dessert which was a rice ball. For $11.90 it's a good place to have a good Korean dish without the price and trouble of going down to a Korean restaurant setup. The fried chicken is nothing to comment, quite normal.

The flavor now is better than before, I had the Pork Belly Kimchi Soup for lunch and it comes with a bowl of rice and 3 mini side dishes. Was blown away by the soup, when you drink it. The soup really flown down your throat smoothly and not too spicy not too sour. The soup is packed with local taste and is good for local Singaporean. Unlike the old days where the Korean Chefs were still around, the soup was cooked base on Authentic Korean style. Yet too sour for me, but still it depends on what others think. Some people have their original taste requirements. For me is always universal taste and equal for all Singaporean.

Enjoyed the pork knuckle bento, it tastes so good, even the side dish and dessert are yummy! The food variety in this restaurant is much better than usual Korean store you would expect in a food court. Waiting time could be slightly longer during peak hours, around 15-20min.
