Feels like you walked in an old school Chinese restaurant. Waitress and servers are quite old that I feel so bad letting them to serve me. However food was really good! Especially the steamed grouper fish! So worth ordering! Longevity story fry noodles has a very strong wok hey taste! Yam paste dessert with ginkgo is very fragrant but slightly sweet for my liking.

What a superb meal at Kam Boat Teochew Restaurant 金龍船潮州酒家! Our first time there and will definitely be back more!! Great cooking, such balance & finesse in flavours! Crab was cooked to perfection with such sweet flesh & loads of roe. The Qing Long Cai was stir fried with amazing wok hei that we could smell that char aroma when the dish spins past on our lazy susan. The deep fried pork trotters looked like it was going to be a challenge finishing the plate as it looked like we could get “jerlat” (no ang mo word to describe this type of feeling accurately I think), BUT whilst the skin was perfectly crispy, the meat beneath was so moist and that layer of fat just melts in the mouth….if I wasn’t so full, I would have taken 2 pieces… the Teochew style fried kway teow (with preserved radish) — 2 thumbs up 👍🏻👍🏻 Basically, none of the dishes disappointed.

Kam Boat is a Teochew Restaurant where we will visit every Chinese new year. It has very traditional, yummy and nice Tecochew cuisine. The restaurant manager has been working there for many years. She's very friendly and recognizes the familiar faces of those who go and dine there. The staff are very efficient and experienced. Each dish is served very fast. Ingredients are fresh and nice. The Lo Hei is also very delicious. It's very suitable for big family gatherings. Seats are comfortable and the environment is clean. #ILoveKamBoat
