Singapore｜BB&B - Bread, Beer & Brez'n (Phoenix Park)

A hidden gem in near Orchard. If you're looking for some western food, definitely try out this place. The Possmann cider is fairly cheap and is probably one of my favorites now. Was not impressed with the bruschetta - instead of the fresh tomatoes, they were pickled, not a fan. But the pretzel and strudel was really good! For the dessert we had apple pie, which was tasty enough but was not to die for. Overall the place has definitely deserved to be starred in my places-to-return-to.

Lovely spot set on the hilltop of 'old' Phoenix Park. Comfortably quiet, leafy with a slight breeze. Food here is your usual brauhaus grub, pork knuckle, sausages and etc. Wash all that food down with their delicious grevensteiner beer. Perfect pairing. Knuckle was well seasoned and done with a beautiful crackling, though personally would prefer to have a bit of jus on the side to moisten my meat somewhat. Pizza seemed a little burned and be of a supermarket frozen food section variety. Not a huge place and we've got really good attentive service from the staffers. Definitely be coming back.

Food was fantastic! Curry wursts were great, and so was the fried cheese and pizza. Beer was very smooth. Dog friendly too! They even kindly gave our dogs water to drink without us asking. Felt so touched haha. Only downside was that we had a crowd of uninvited guests in the form of mozzies. 😭 I don’t fault the restaurant for that though, but I would recommend covering up when going!
