Teochew food done by Teochew chef who knows his stuff. Cold crab is actually flower crab and not mud crab. Lots of roe and flesh is sweet. Grilled pork cheeks was so crispy and tender. Beats any char siew out there. Not a bargain basement joint so you get what you pay for.

One of the best Authentic teo chew restaurants in Singapore. True to what 蔡澜 said. It is located near Orchard at Orange Glove Road and target mainly the well off community nearby, so you can expect the price at the pricey side, eg $4 per pax for the tea + wet tissue. Among the dishes we ordered, I especially liked the threadfin with yam and cabbage soup which is so tasty. As a Teo Chew, I also must order the yam paste dessert to end the meal and theirs was superb as it comes with the pumpkin and ginkgo nuts — one of the best teo chew yam paste that I had. The service was attentive and polite. The boss was running the show himself and was visible to the customers. The restaurant also seems to retain a lot of old staffs for years which is good 👍🏻 I am sure that there are many other good dishes there. When my family crave for authentic Teochew cuisine, this will be the restaurant we will go to. We have tried various Teochew restaurants and still only stick to them. Their prices are steep but rest assured they only served the BEST. Their lobster noodle, shark fin, abalone, cai Por kway Teow and oyster omelette are to die for! They do have very good orh nee n tao suan! Yums
