Singapore｜Kumo Japanese Dining

Not my first visit to this Japanese restaurant and the last visit was probably 2 years back, but was pleased to find that the food standard remain good and very fresh. Ordered many varieties of dishes, all was fresh and tasty especially their sashimi. Will definitely be back!!

Ordered Cold Udon Set, Salmon Bowl and Chawamushi. Food was really good for the price. Sushi and salmon were fresh and slices were thick. Cold Udon was chewy and the dipping sauce was not too salty. Chawamushi was alright. You can sign up for their membership programme for 3% cashback. Staff were friendly and accommodating. We came at 9:40 and still allowed us to order despite last order being 9:45. There's Free parking coupon as well. They also have very cute take away bag. :D Left the place feeling happy. Will be back again.

Truly enjoyed the very fresh & juicy thick cuts of tuna, salmon, yellowtail & swordfish sashimi. We had the ala carte buffet dinner so repeated the sashimi order many times. There was an extensive variety of dishes we could choose from in various categories. The dishes come in small portions, usually 1 pc per order (for 1 pax) because it's buffet so you add on accordingly. The restaurant extended a grilled salmon fish head to us with compliments & a hotpot miso soup cooked with salmon fish bones which was very tasty. We devoured the fish head & finished up the soup in no time. Ordering was made very easy by scanning a QR code & then choosing what you want from their online portal & clicking the submit button to send your order. The restaurant has expanded by taking over the shop space next to its original location so it's now very spacious & offers good seating capacity. Service staff were all very friendly & helpful. Plus they gave us a complimentary parking coupon. Overall, we had a very satisfying dining experience at Kumo & will definitely be back for more!
