Singapore｜Mimi Restaurant

I had a very pleasant dining experience at Mimi's restaurant when celebrating birthday dinner and we're very particular about Chinese cuisine. We agreed and highly praised the Treasure of the Sea and Chicken on Fire, which she mentioned that it's a very good rendition of Chinese cuisine flavour. The duck confit is crispy on the outside but the meat is quite dry and feels a little tough at certain part. The current oriental restaurant vibe and deco is cozy and intimate, which I think is a good direction than the original deco with very bold colours. We are very pleased by the attentive service from the team as well that even went the extra mile on serving the longevity bun for us just right before closing. Other than that, it was a pleasant dining experience and looking forward to revisit again.

Came across this restaurant on IG and made a reservation for a dinner gathering. To be honest, every dish was good and exceeded my overall expectation of this place. If I had to choose, the top three must-try would be the the saucy crab & egg affair, chicken on fire and lychee scallop with furikake cereal. They served interesting signature cocktails too! There are many other interesting choices on the menu that I would love to try, am looking forward to my next visit already.

Had a fantastic meal here - was looking for some chinese food, but with a bit of modern twist - exactly what I was looking for! Really liked the fire chicken, the smoked peking duck and the yin tang crab! Delicious.
