Singapore｜Tamoya Udon & Tempura Singapore (Plaza Singapura)

Great udon which was very filling at Tamoya, the broth was on the saltier side but noodles were cooked well and the meat was soft and tender, no “pork taste”! The portion was quite large and ordering is simple, with food being served to u once u order online. Food is of normal restaurant price! I ordered the pork egg udon.

Their Udon is delightfully chewy and perfectly infused with the rich flavors of their signature soups. The variety of sides they offer made our lunch truly comforting. We savored their dishes, starting with the Sanuki Beef Onsen Egg Udon – a delightful blend of tender beef slices and a Japanese onsen egg, simmered in their signature bonito soup stock. Next, we indulged in the Spicy Yakiniku Dry Udon, featuring fresh udon adorned with flavorful spicy beef yakiniku, accompanied by two delectable dipping sauces, Japanese-style curry, and a Dashi Onsen egg. For egg enthusiasts, the Triple Egg Udon was a dream come true, boasting silky noodles crowned with a trio of Japanese eggs: mentaiko, ebiko, and tamago. We couldn't resist the Snow Crab Creamy Croquette – crispy Japanese-style croquettes oozing with creamy white sauce and succulent Snow Crab. We end our cravings with Kakiage, a plate of crispy fried mixed vegetables, a perfect accompaniment to our udon creations.

The Japanese food here is delicious! Beef was tender and juicy, especially with a layer of mentaiko sauce. The noodles both udon and ramen are springy and soft while the truffle broth is extremely flavourful. Very well done.
