Singapore｜Chui Huay Lim Teochew Cuisine 醉花林品潮轩

Had our Secondary School Alumni Dinner there. Overall, the food is delicious! You can see from the picture I have uploaded. Need to mention about the Yam paste as it’s too nice and I forgot to take a picture! Will find time to bring my family there again.

Very good. Will come back. I like that the private room has a karaoke system (albeit a bit old). Food is excellent. Cold crab, suckling pig, oyster egg, combination platter all very elite. I want to specially mention the tau suan, induced with orange peel. Different.

Old-fashioned charm serving delicious food! When we walked into this restaurant, we were so surprised to see that it was fully packed on a Saturday evening despite it being in a not easily accessible spot and within a dated looking entrance. We realised the crowd were made up of mostly older families. The items on the menu isn’t exactly what I would call cheap, but portion was generous and made of high quality ingredients. There were also plenty selection of tea! Service wise, although we had to make a request multiple times to get what we wan each time, we were more than happy to wait a little / repeat a few times because you could see that the waiters were a little older and definitely doing their best to serve. Orh Nee and Oyster Omelette is a must try! Overall, I love this place and highly recommend for good food! It brings back memories of my late grandparents in a good way!
