Singapore｜Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant - Beach Road

Came here for my mother birthday dinner. Food freshness was excellent. Taste was good too, not too salty. Appetizers were normal, can give it a miss. Overall, service, food and environment - excellent.

Pretty spicy small dishes, all of which were yummy, particularly the eel, and lobster with cashews. For non-spicy options, the small kids had crispy fish skin, pork belly with bun & broccoli, spinach in a really lovely broth, several bowls of scallion oil noodles (the size of the bowl is quite small so my seven-year-old had 3 portions!) and lots of dessert including mango sago & herbal jelly (with lots of fruity embellishments).

Had dinner here yesterday! Service, food, and ambience were top quality! We had appetisers, chicken soup, black pepper beef, fish in chilli oil, mee sua with crab, and red bean pancake. Particularly loved that all dishes were tasty and of high quality - personal favourites were the appetisers and black pepper beef! Very happy and satisfied that I got to enjoy my favourite desert - red bean pancake! The only hiccup of the night was that the forgot our dessert and we had to wait quite long for it. It was a very busy night. Other than that, the experience was fantastic! Will be back again to try more food!
