Golden Tuan Kee’s chicken rice is definitely an excellent choice! The chicken was tender and juicy and the rice was delicious, filling every bite with flavor. Their unique chili sauce adds a nice twist to this classic dish. Although Huang Huang Duan Kee's hot pot is not as good as some large Hai Lao, they only provide chicken soup base and fixed hot pot ingredients, but they maintain the taste of childhood. The store environment is comfortable and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Whether dining alone or sharing with friends and family, you can enjoy authentic and delicious chicken rice and hot pot here. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves good food! However, there is often a steady stream of customers on weekends, so it’s best to arrive early~

Filling portions for worthwhile prices. Combination of steamboat and chicken rice works surprisingly well. Over the ten years I've been here, the standards have been very consistent. Just beware that the smell will cling unto your clothes after your meal. Overall a very unique place to bring an overseas friend to introduce local cuisine.

Another impromptu dinner with the boys. Today we decided to take things back in time. This place has a legacy history of being around since the hay days. Nevertheless, everything still tastes exactly the same as before, the brand itself really stood the test of time. We reckon this is the only Hainanese steamboat with chicken rice !!! You need to try the rice … it has a really fragrant smell of ginger and Pandan leaf. Enjoy the whole dinner with their homemade chili and the ginger paste. The steamboat ingredients are really fresh and we would like to point out the marinated pork; they are extremely tender and juicy. Bring your family and friends along to pop up for some nostalgic dining experience.
