Super FRESH from Hokkaido! So impressed by Chef Jun and his team. Amazing culinary skills . Will be back again.

Had the lunch Omakase set (6 dishes) on a Saturday afternoon. $128++/set. We sat at the sushi counter, it was about half full. Dish 1: 3 little appetisers (mozuku seaweed, stewed bamboo shoots, conch) Dish 2: sashimi (with 2 thick fatty tuna) Dish 3: grilled ayu fish (crispy and flaky!) Dish 4: assorted tempura (a 🍤, artichokes, a small green pepper and a ball of seaweed! Very special and surprising) Dish 5: mini unagi rice set Dish 6: dessert (custard pudding over burnt black sugar) It was a superbly delicious and satisfying meal with quality and unique ingredients! It was a pleasure to get to taste the mini unagi don as part of the course, since eel is their specialty! The unagi sauce is not the usual sticky type, but a delightful gentle thin sweet dashi.. Though the simple dessert 🍮 looked like it could be bought from donki, you can definitely taste the elegant difference 👍 ごちそうさまでした!

Very good quality food that’s freshly prepared one course after the other. The cold soba is freshly made and has the perfect texture. Unagi is also very well grilled and it’s a huge portion if you order the 1.5 pieces. Service staff are also very attentive but never intrusive.
