We ordered a side of baguette separately and it was a pretty big portion! Service was excellent, the wait staff packed up our leftovers so it was completely spill-free! Only sad thing was that there was no free drinking water :( Parking on Sat lunchtime was easy and plentiful in the open-air carpark right outside.
Had an incredible meal here after visiting the Eurasian heritage gallery. Was a little on the pricey side but definitely worth every dollar. The fish cakes (Pastéis de Bacalhau) até one of my home favourites when travelling back to Portugal, these certainly didn’t disappoint. They were just like home and loved the food. The desert “Sago Gula Melaka” is also incredible and loved it that I had to try and find it in different places after eating it there. Great experience and the waiting staff were all very attentive. The added bonus was the happy hour on beer which was before 8pm, so I enjoyed two pints of beer with my meal. Kids can be entertained with a playing room located Nextdoor and in full visibility from the restaurant, plus there was a band setup there although no live music whilst we were dining at that time as it was around 6pm which was a bit early. Great food and great experience!
the main thing i would say about this restaurant is just how comforting it made me feel, both in terms of the food and the atmosphere. food-wise, a blend of peranakan and western influences with the curries, but it is definitely worth a try! somehow, the flavours are mild but very rich, maybe due to the blend of spices used hahah. i would recommend trying the roast beef and the sugee cake!
