Singapore｜Shiraishi

My ultimate favourite Bara Chirashi place in Singapore. It is located in the arcade of Ritz Carlton Singapore. This is an independent restaurant, hence you don’t get to enjoy any credit card discount but every penny is worth it! Used to be a regular before the pandemic. Haven’t been here for a few years since 2020, so was a little bit concerned about the quality.. My worry turned out to be unnecessary. I don’t know about other items but Bara Chirashi is something that cannot be paralleled in any other Japanese sushiyas within Singapore. They use fresh ingredients and are very generous with tuna. Also types of fish are highly varied- not a typical bara chirashi consisted of only salmon and tuna.. they give you a decent amount of anago, white fish, ikura and octopus: all very delicious. Their wasabi is good. Their clam soup is refined. Their hojicha is delicious. Service is attentive. (This lunch is more expensive than the Korean beef barbecue I just had today.. but I cannot avoid thinking that this is far better value for money..)

Shiraishi may be one of the best Sushi restaurants in Singapore. I went there for business lunch with customer because of its tasty food, classy atmosphere and good service. Although price is not cheap, it is still worthwhile to take lunch / dinner for business purpose. For private, I cannot comment much because my young son said that Sushiro is the best Sushi restaurant. I have to apologise to my son, but I use Shiraishi for business purpose mainly.
