They are always full house at lunch, dinner timing. It was very crowded after 12 am as well. Which mean, they have really nice food. The 2 items that I always go for are their : white rice with mutton cubes/curry or fried chicken. Another item in the list will be their prata is really really good. It's hard to get seat at their peak hours, and service will be slow, which is expected. Over all, a place with nice Indian food 😋

We're pretty much late in familiarising with this gem called Imam. The food spread is expansive and good with authentic nasi kandar style offerings for that umami high of flooding your plateful of dishes with aromatic curry and it is reasonably priced. As it is more of a no frills fast grab or order joint one cannot expect fully attentive or exemplary service. I've got a soft spot for Indian vegetable dishes and theirs are not only really good and delicious but they have plenty of choices which delighted me. The familiar staple favourites and a lot more are genuine soulfood to please all Indian food lovers. Good stuff. And a good place for go-to whenever.

Walked pass the eatery at evening time and saw hocks of inviting lamb shanks chillaxing in a curry bath. Had to go in to try! Each lamb shank cost $12. I ordered one with biryani, with an added portion of squid ink calamari (+$4). The overall verdict is good, with the lamb shank tender enough for the meat and tendon to come off the bone with a bit of teasing. The squid ink calamari was great! I recall hearing the cashier guy telling his colleague behind the food counter to "add more, add more". My only lament was that the portion was too large, and I could not finish half the biryani rice and salad. The meal cost me $19. I think it's worth it. Just come with a friend if you don't want to overeat.
