Singapore｜Selegie Soyabean

Been patronising this outlet for several years now. It is more spacious than other outlets and allows more patrons to dine in (indoor and outdoor seating). Good variety of food, dessert and drinks available. I recommend the soya bean curd which is luxuriously smooth. You can add all kinds of toppings to it, such as ginko nuts, gula melaka, almond syrup, tapioca balls, tapioca pearls, etc. I recommend the red bean or tang yuan (comes in black sesame, red bean and peanut flavours). You can adjust the sugar level and also tell them if you like to add some soya bean milk to it. The soya bean milk and chin chow drinks are nice too. Fried food and muffins are also on sale. Service is efficient, so even though there is always a queue, it moves rather fast. Not pet-friendly and no more discount for ntuc members nor payment by Fave. However, NS personnel can receive a 10% discount.

The weather is hot, very hot, so hot. Although there were ceiling fans, sitting inside or outside was so hot. Personally, I liked the soybean drink and fried dough. Other items, I did not tried.

The beancurd here is definitely one of the silkiest!! I prefer this to rochor beancurd. I also like that you can ask to replace the sugar syrup with soya milk instead as i prefer my desserts less sweet. The tang yuan also has the mochi-like texture that i like! The fried youtiao is not as crispy as my family would have liked but all around, i love coming here for original beancurd
