Gem in the heartlands. Portion sizes are great and value for money. Service was also awesome, food quality is there. Must try! Oyster omelette: not too oily, was just nice! Kong ba with buns: meat was slightly tough, but flavour is there Fish maw soup: very rich!

Must order: braised cabbage with vinegar Cabbage that will change your life. No other cabbage dish can compare. I can’t stress enough how much I love the braised cabbage dish. Multidimensional flavors of sweet, sour, savory, umami. All you need is a bowl of rice to go with this. It is also generous with meat (as a vegetable dish) - this portion was $20 (medium) and I had some to go. my friend makes fun of me for asking to eat this every time we want to meet but it’s their fault for introducing it to me. Ambience wise, it’s old and dank - I’m here for the nostalgia factor and it’s a grandma approved spot. I liked their fried rice in the past too. The lunch bento was good value, especially the soup.

Authentic Hokkien Restaurant!! Old school hokkien dishes. The Ngoh Hiong is Superb yummy. The spinach mushroom is another 😋 one. The mushroom is very big, soft and soak with sauce. The chicken skin is crispy..yum yum The highly recommended hokkien noodle is indeed the highlight, my empty bowl is the best testimonial isn't it? The only bad thing is the kong ba.. is overcooked and hard. Otherwise all is good The service staffs are friendly and efficient! Will be back again!!
