Cheap and good. Better than the ones at chinatown. Service is good too. Must try the 辣子鸡 it has a lot of chicken lol. Most customers comes from China but we are the few Singaporean who likes this place.

About 5-10 mins walk from Chinese Garden MRT Station, this little restaurant along the main road is a hidden gem! Authentic Dong Bei cuisine that has the most delicious chinese food I've come across, as compared to those available in Chinatown. The skewers are heavily seasoned so it may be too much for those that prefer lighter taste. The skewers are great to go with their plain bun or dumplings or even the fried rice. As those are lighter taste staples that balance out the strong flavoured skewers. Their fried dishes are great as well but the portions are huge so do come with a bigger group to be able to try more food. Personal favorite is the leek with egg, pork with tofu skin wrap and the salted egg pumpkin! They have outdoor and indoor seatings, and tables available on the second floor too. They also have room seatings available with minimum spending requirements. Highly recommended and definitely a place to revisit!

Recently, I found that the taste of Jipinxiang barbecue has been greatly improved. The taste is absolutely authentic, not inferior to any domestic barbecue restaurant. It tastes oily and very down-to-earth. Grilled oysters, fresh, plump, with a little chili, the taste is amazing. I heard that the signature dish is the big bone in sauce. I gnaw on the bone while wearing gloves, and I can suck out the bone marrow. I can eat two big pieces at a time! I heard that many people from the east also "traveled long distances" to the west to eat!
