Cosy place for a good Taiwanese dinner. Can easily park directly in front of the restaurant. Great for bikers to hang out. Very hospitable lady boss Fiona. Really enjoyed the flavourful beef noodles and dumplings which were handmade and actually Fiona’s family recipe. Boss is also a fellow rider and made us feel at home. His dogs are so cute!

Authentic Taiwanese food. Recommended: 1. Kala chicken leg rice 2. Braised Beef Shanks 3. Century egg tofu

Overall: Good food with a neighbourhood cafe vibes. Really value for money! Food (GST and service charge applicable. Prices before): 1) braise pork rice set - comes with preserved vege , half a braised egg, and braised pork with sufficient braised sauce. Tastes very balanced! Not too oily but really flavourful with the sour notes from the preserved vege accompanying. 2) beef noodle soup - strong flavoured beef soup, with thick cut noodles and thinly sliced beef pieces. Favourite of the day 3) gyoza - comes in 10 large pieces. It's lightly panfried and comes in either cabbage/酒菜 + pork. We opted for the 酒菜one and it was decent. Worth the price 4) crispy pork big intestine - this is pretty tasty and nicely seasoned after deep-fried, however it's a little smaller than what we expected for the price. Service: Orders are placed via web-app thru QR code, and pay at counter after you're done eating. as at 01-Sep-23, paywave is acceptable. There was only one lady in charge of serving everyone for the full dinner service, so don't expect servers to come to you greeting you and asking for your orders and recommending you things to eat. It's pretty no-frills in this regard. Nevertheless, food are served to you and not self-collect with beeper.
