Singapore｜Lai Kee Pau & Dim Sum - Clementi

I am rating them 5 stars based on price vs quality. At this price range it is one of the best. The dim sum are all handmade and pretty fresh. If I am here again I will skip the standard har gao siew mai (they were just OK) but go for the unique dim sum - the one with seaweed, the one with the egg. The cheong fun is also very good - comparable to those made on the spot. Thin, yet doesn't break apart.

The pau here is really great. The dough texture is fine and they are generous with their ingredients. Famous for their coffee n kaya pau, the kong-bak pau, their small chicken pau and the large pau with egg. All my friends who I had given these pau would go back to buy for themselves. Easy to locate off Sunset Way, 2nd carpark on the left, turn left to find the Sunset Way foodcourt. It is right next to a liang tofu stall.
