More Comments at Google MapThis is really an underrated restaurant which I recently discovered. Located in a relatively obscure location near Setapak area, I had to brace the heavy traffic on a Saturday evening. The rain wasn't that forgiving as well. Therefore I hope that the trip was worthwhile. First impression upon entering the restaurant was a positive one - nice ambience and greeted with a smile. Most importantly, the foods were indeed good. ◾Seafood bisque - plate containing seafood was served and the soup was poured right in front of you. Brimming with sweetness of seafood. ◾Cream cheese & Garlic parcels served with tomato salsa - 6 pieces of creamy & garlicky 'wantan' with the salsa to cut through the jelak-ness. Interesting. ◾Deep fried mushrooms - thought of having it on my own but ended up fighting with the kids until the last piece. ◾Pesto Pasta +RM6 with any dish ordered - certainly have more rooms for improvement. Hardly tasted the nut. ◾Honey Glazed Lamb Shank with vegetable cheese rice - dish of the night! Fork-tender, fall-off-the-bone meat with delicious sauce to match. Heck, even the risotto-like rice when mixed with the sauce tasted so good. ◾Roasted Duck Whole Leg with Swiss spaetzle, green beans & cherry - ◾Sirloin steak - the son requested for medium-well doneness and he got exactly the way he asked for. He went mmmpphh mmmpphh and proceed to clean up the plate. Must be good I think. I simply love this restaurant for their reasonably priced, good-portioned and well-prepared dishes in their menu. A hidden gem maybe.
My family & I recently have the pleasure of dining at Watermark, a restaurant known for its affordable Western cuisine. Located in the quiet part of the city, Watermark offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that sets the stage for a delightful dining experience. During our visit, we have the opportunity to sample a variety of dishes, and while the food had its hits and misses, the friendly staff and excellent service more than made up for it. Let's start with the highlight of Watermark—the affordability. In a world where dining out can sometimes break the bank, Watermark offers a refreshing change with its reasonably priced menu. The selection of Western dishes is extensive, catering to a range of palates and preferences. Whether you're craving a juicy burger, a comforting pasta dish, or a sizzling steak, Watermark has you covered without burning a hole in your pocket. Now, let's talk about the food. While some dishes at Watermark left a lasting impression, there were a few that missed the mark. We asked for a medium rare rib eye but it was over cooked. Pasta was ok but I would like it to be cooked al dente. Despite these minor setbacks, we appreciated the effort and variety in the menu. The staff at Watermark truly deserve praise for their exceptional service. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with warm smiles and a genuine willingness to assist. The waitstaff were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and quick to address any queries or concerns. Their friendliness and professionalism elevated the overall dining experience, leaving a lasting positive impression. The ambiance at Watermark was comfortable and inviting, with tastefully decorated interiors and soft lighting that added to the relaxed atmosphere. Whether you're dining with friends, family, or a special someone, Watermark provides a cozy setting that encourages conversation and enjoyment. In conclusion, Watermark is a restaurant that offers affordable Western cuisine, with some hits and misses in terms of the food. However, the friendly and attentive staff, coupled with their great service, more than make up for any culinary shortcomings. If you're looking for a reasonably priced meal in a welcoming environment, Watermark is worth a visit.
Came here with my family for mother's day dinner. The deco of the restaurant is simple yet nice. Most importantly, the taste of their food is definitely above average compared to other cafes out there. Their crew provided good service too, very attentive.
