One of quite a few seafood restaurants in the area, River View Seafood restaurant offers all the usual Chinese seafood dishes of note is the deep fried eggplant with dried shrimp — the eggplant is cut into sticks and deep fried and gives you a texture and flavour that’s almost like a French fry. Also worth trying out is the fragrant stir fried chicken with curry leaves which is mildly spicy and has a strong flavour. The signature tofu is also worth ordering. Do note that the portions are pretty large so the “small” size portion is actually big enough to feed 3-4 people. This restaurant is also halal and no pork is served here.

The food is awesome with a very reasonable price especially since we ordered crab, prawn, fish and chicken. It is also located near the river. There is also a boat activity beside the restaurant. The restaurant is quite packed during peak hours so it is advisable to go there earlier.

We had a fantastic mantis shrimp for lunch..one of the top I've had in South East Asia...and green veg on side. The portions are large so a small serving of shrimp and one veg to share was plenty to fill the two of us to the top. We came back again for dinner. 😆If in the area.. we'll definitely visit again.
