The passion of a restaurant owner is directly reflected in the preparation of his/her food. You can feel the owner's effort and creativity in carefully crafting the dishes. I had the noodles of the day. Really enjoyed the flavour profile of the noodles with the umami gravy (with crispy curry leaves and a hint of salted egg?), silky smooth kueytiaw and the addition of udang geragau. Topped with 2 fresh prawns, crispy beancurd skin and runny eggs, I think RM 15 for the noodles is justified. Too bad the cendol was sold out by lunch time. Will be back again to try it. Air-conditioned seating in the shop and alfresco dining available under shaded greens.

We came for brunch. The decor is nostalgic and food served quickly after ordering. The rendang chicken in the nasi kerabu was delicious. The mee siam was flavourful and the deep green cendol was super soft, with the right amount of gula melaka. Staff were friendly and even reminded us to have our street parking paid.

Expecting long queue on a public holiday, but the queue was pretty decent and moved fast. Tried their specialty of the day -Nasi Ulam Nyonya with Gulai Batang Keladi and Sambal Chicken. Their asam laksa is good as usual. Finally tried their famous cendol and it lived up to its reputation! A good place with food that tastes like home, I love it that they add surprises to their daily menu. Check out their daily specials on their FB.
