Ever wonder what your parents meant when they say food used to taste so much tastier. Between the world war and the mass marketing of MSG, one would be rightly puzzled. And here's a place that may settle that question. Good old recipes from staples like fish slice bee hoon, yes with a prune and preserved veg thrown in, pumpkin infused soup served in a pumpkin, Halloween reference for today, up the the traditional dishes of black bean this and that, prawns this way and that, etc. Food the way you imagined your parents imagined it! This restaurant has been local favorite since there's no other similar restaurant around this area for family dine in or take away. Since my first time dinning with my sibling's family has been pleasant as advance booking is necessary especially during weekends and peak hours of the day. The dishes cooked quite okay if we are not too fussy about food as we can advise on reduced oil or salty dishes for healthier choices, since healthier delicious food is hard to come by.
