Did not try the samsui chicken. The dishes we ordered were however very good. The spicy ginger fried rice was simple but special and warming to the tummy. Reminds me of confinement food. Wat tan hor had a really good wok hei. Sticky sweet spare ribs was really delicious. Tofu silky smooth and was good with the soy sauce. Would come back to try the other dishes.

3 of us had lunch at 1 utama. Tried the stir fried mee suah, potato leaf salted fish soup, tofu with minced meat and ginseng soup (supposedly for destressing). Surpises: potato leaf soup with muy heong ham yu (salted fish) was surprisingly delicious. Light, salted fish taste not overpowering, and novelty to us. Must order their steam chicken dish. Its their signature. Generous amount of ginger to go with it. Double boiled soup of the day was sweet corn soup. It was very tasty, the corn were so sweet, paired with soft bone pork ribs. Yummms...! I also liked their salted fish egg plant. Very unique. This dish is perfect to go with steam rice. The fried potato leaves was not up to par. Too soggy and too oily for me.
