Zuan Yuan in One World Hotel, as a Chinese fine dining restaurant, sits on a very fine balance as it is a pork free restaurant. That tends to tip the scales a bit towards disfavouring it, but it's managed to come through very well. The recent renovation has also upgraded the decor and made the restaurant bigger, brighter and breezier. Food wise, it presents itself with the usual restaurant fare, but a lot of patrons come for the dim sum that's available during mornings right through lunchtime. Generally very good, it's hard to find a dish that will disappoint. Prices can be a little steep, but that's expected from a hotel-based Chinese restaurant.

Went for weekend dim sum buffet rm78nett for each pax. Some of the food are really good like Har Gao(steamed prawn dumpling), chicken feet, fried salmon skin, braised seafood broth, steamed beancurd roll. Fried lotus paste pancake is a bit too thick today... They serve vegetables too in garlic or oyster sauce...not bad... But their Chee cheong fun is not to my liking, the texture was not up to parr to me... I wished their taro dumpling is not in black pepper sauce, taste bit weird. BBQ meat tasted so so... Fried turnip cake not good 😊 still giving five stars as some of the food are really... Har Gao is a must and remember to order their braised seafood broth at the end of the buffet as it will taste more savoury and thicker consistency after longer duration of boil I think so 😂

A very classy and nice restaurant. A warm welcoming, followed by an excellent & professional service. High quality of food with a lot of attention to details in decoration and the way of cooking, all the single details unexpectedly delicious! We have stayed in the hotel and had our meal for 2 days in the restaurant.. 1st day we have right the Chinese food and the 2nd day we had choice to taste the buffet verities..
