Everyone can sell roasted meat, but to make good roasted meat herein lies the rub! One can make good roast chicken but not char siew or roast pork belly, those who make good char siew somehow can't get their toast pork belly right. You get the idea... Please enlighten me on where the seller get everything right ok? 🙏🏻 One can find roasted meat stall almost everywhere he/she goes - in fact, it is probably the fastest stall to be taken up if there's a hawker style restaurant opens up. It is one of the fastest moving food in any restaurant that you go. For me, I prefer convenience than purposely making a trip just to savour my choice of roasted meat. As I am always in Kota Damansara area, I would not miss any new restaurant opening for business. Gen Don is actually few years old but it took me recently to be able to post this up. Located along the quieter row of the bustling Dataran Sunway area, they have since established themselves as one of the place for roasted meat. I'd come here several times actually... The portion was generous, ordering system pretty straight forward and fast too. ◾3 Combinations - I tried their roasted duck, pork belly and char siew and found that all of them tasted above average.. the roasted duck has this nice herbal taste,crispy skin and tender meat; char siew was caramelised well (still prefer Toast N Roast but this was commendable); and the siew yuk has this crackling skin. ◾Wantan noodle - the portion itself could easily feed two kids (or even 2 small eaters). They used pork lard and oil resulting in the aromatic flavour. ◾Chai boey aka spicy & sour vegetable - I enjoyed this dish so much. ◾pork ball soup ◾Braised taufu They get most of the roasted meat right... Not necessarily the best in business but more of a convenience, this restaurant has become my to-go place whenever I'm in the area.

Very good quality meats and noodles. Price also absolutely reasonable. 4 of us ordered plenty of food and the price is only RM101
