This is my first visit and I will definitely return. Parking was full so be prepared to wait awhile or walk a short distance for available lots. This supposed extension of the original Wok Kei has a pleasant environment. It’s generally very clean, even measured by the standards of Singapore. Food options are aplenty and stalls are relatively clean and food well handled too. I order iced tea at a very reasonable price of MYR 3.10, it wasn’t great but it was reasonable. A bowl of dry wanton mee was about MYR 6 and it was superb. The wanton had a flavourful and fragrant meat+prawn filling, with a skin thin enough to be light yet robust enough to hold the filling in. The sauce that accompanied the springy egg noodles was flavourful - would be even better with chilli. This spot seems really popular, so be prepared to wait if you are ordering food from popular stalls e.g. ban mee.

Mixed rice is good. Start selling early. But prices these days are not cheap especially if we take pork

Love the prawn noodles. Very tasty lah. The pork noodles and Sam Kan Chong pork noodles from 2 diff stalls are both good. The variety and choice of food in the Chap Fan (Economy Rice) is also very good. Lots to choose from. Prices have crept up over the years but still very reasonable. Kopi is average especially after having a fantastic kopi from a cafe in Penang on a recent trip. Very busy during lunch and the economy rice sells out by 5.30pm.
