Batu Caves, Selangor, Malaysia｜Restoran Chong Hwa Curry Laksa

I enjoy my morning cuppa at this place and the variety of food operated by a single store is amazing. I learnt that the shop is managed by the 3rd generation and hv been in business for 70 yrs. I ordered the chee cheong fun and the boss told me they have just recently hand-made their yong tau foo and they change their colourful herbal teas every week. They have homemade noodles without gan sui paired with their fragrant curry base that is spicy and smooth in texture. This shop is an advocate for healthier eats, with less oil, less santan and less artificial flavouring but despite all that, the food tastes great and brings back memories of home-made grandmotherly feel that seems lost with the commercial foods available at malls. I didn't manage to try all their food but this place is worth a 2nd ...3rd try and many many more!

Ordered Wan Tan Mee and coffee for breakfast, Wan Tan Mee came with charsiew and wanton too, taste good, but the coffee not kaw kaw hahahaa, my friend said the signature food is curry laksa and is a must to try, definitely will come again if I visit to Batu Caves again

The curry noodles here are delicious, the cockles are very fresh, and the curry soup is rich in aroma. If paired with fried chicken legs, it is simply top-notch! ! !
