Just had lunch at this local air-conditioned eatery here in muar. There is no menu, just a counter with ingredients. Choose from the ingredients, and tell them how u like them cooked. Being newbies, we asked for suggestions from staff. The Asam isn’t spicy. Has the sour taste. They ran out of fish slices at 2pm, so we had the head instead. Both fish and sotong are fresh. Sotong went well with the petai. Veg isn’t salty either. All in all, simple home-cooked dishes. In a simple setting. Rounded off with a big and small bowl of rice for me and gf. And two cans of chrysanthemum. Damage: 81.30rm

Authenticness of soury delicious taste of Assam Fish. We had a great time tasting stingray , fish roe were awesome, fried flounder-like fish outside crisp inside meat were smooth like silk . Otak-otak hits on spot of it's tenderness . Big Plus point on all dishes freshness. Thank you owner for the awesomeness.

Very nice fried egg, chilli prawn, fried sotong and asam fish. The asam fish can add more more sambal cause it’s not really spicy.
