More Comments at Google Mapcame here twice with family and friends and both times had a great experience. food was amazing and the service was great. toilets are clean. some of the seating is a bench and it gets a little tricky getting in and out, especially if you’re wearing a long dress or skirt. they have an arcade game outside the restaurant, great if you’re waiting for a table. also really great if you have kids that are bored. after your meal there is a mist machine that you can use so that you don’t smell like your meal when you leave the place. 10/10 concept definitely is an experience, really worth the visit. can’t wait to come back again!
Nice concept and just look at how they display the meat We had the Mala and Chicken Broth. Do order the chicken soup it's good. Order more of the Snowflake Beef so soft and so good but missed the Rib eye as it was tough I always got a thing with Rice Cake, they have a mochi like texture that I like. This came as a surprise to me as it was huge, make me see le wanna feel full alright la But tastes good with the Brown sugar sauce all over it 30 mins car ride to get there from JB checkpoint if you are interested.
This is one of the nicer hotpot place in JB after going for so many. I have to give 5 star to this. Note that it is not wheelchair accessible as there is a big obstacle that you need to overcome at the entrance already. Heres my review on this below in detail. Summary: Paid around RM280 for 2 of us. We ordered yuan yang soup (beef mala and pork bone), both soup is flavourful. We ordered around 10 different dishes, price is slightly more expensive for each dish but portion is big. So all in all is worth it. Condiments is RM5 for each person. Soup: The beef mala soup has a slight hint of beef taste which enhances the flavour. The pork bone soup comes with a big pork bone in the soup and similarly the thick broth is like the soup in HDL, or maybe better. I did not try others as this was my first time but I will definitely go back. Condiments: The sauces available are not as extensive as HDL for sure. They do have simple side dishes like marinated black fungus and cucumber like what HDL provides. There are water melon and melon as well to end your dinner. There is also free ice cream as a standard. Items to order: So far on the items I ordered, nothing disappoint me. 1) Prawn paste - this is a must. It taste similar to HDL and the portion is big! 2) Duck blood - this is one of the best duck blood I ever have, just cook it in the mala soup. 3) Thick slice potato - I am a sucker for potato with mala soup, its a perfect match. There are 2 types of potato, thick and thin. Some may like thin but i like it thick. Cook for around 2mins and the crunchiness is still present. 4) Iberico pork and beef slice - The fats on the iberico, shiok only. The best part is that they slice it only when someone order, this keeps the freshness of the meats (thou frozen.. haha ironic). Other items that I order.. nothing special but I think its quite worth it based on the price and portion. 1) Dory fish 2) Japanese tofu 3) konjac knot 4) king oyster mushroom (they call it another name there) 5) Raddish I went during weekday offpeak dining time at around 2pm. There was probably 2 tables eating only. So I would not know how it is like when peak comes. But overall for service wise I think its reasonably ok. Atmosphere definitely the China vibe, only thing is that the place plays english songs hahaha! Maybe a bit tak match to the theme, small matter actually haha. I seldom give 5 stars for hotpot as there is always some dish that Ill be disappointed in, but this is definitely a MUST go for me and I will visit it again for sure!
