Advanced order required for the begger chicken and winter melon soup. Begger chicken marinated and baked for 8-9hrs. Meat is tender n sauce alone is good to go with rice. Winter melon soup is served in the winter melon, cooked for 4hrs, soup is not not oily and all 5 of us go for second helping

The beggar's chicken and winter melon cup are must-orders. It is a very rare restaurant that adheres to the traditional cooking method of beggar's chicken. It is the only one in Johor Bahru and may even be the only one in Malaysia.

Chicken is full of flavour and tender, fish is uniquely made as they fillet the fish and made them into fish cakes (deep fried), winter melon soup was refreshing and deep in flavour, white fungus works really well in the soup as it is still crunch after long hours of stewing the soup. Highly recommend this place to everyone! Please call before hand to order the chicken and the soup as it takes time :)
