If you have not tried Sam Kong.. Then you do not know what JB style Laksa is. 1 cut above the rest. Looks biasa... But delicious! Gravy and Fishballs are unusually tasty 👍👍👍.. Most of the other JB laksa fishballs I have tried are tasteless... However I still prefer Janggut Laksa in Queensway Shopping Center Singapore for their savory gravy with lots of dried shrimp bits. But it's just matter of style / preference. Still worth the drive from Singapore. Ample parking in safe Kampung environment. Clean... No flies... Homely service.

This restaurant serves the best JB Laksa, fish head curry and fish soup hotpot! The laksa was the old recipe passed down from his grandpa. Price was extremely reasonable. No complaints at all!
