Singapore｜Lai Heng Bak Chor Mee

Highly recommended. Was there at around 145pm，there were No more meepok, meekia. Had to go with Yellow Mee and Mee tai bak. Kind of sian when my favourite meepok were sold out for the day and this is my First time I had bak chor yellow mee dry. Ordered the $6, generous portion of noodles and ingredients. Minced meat, slice lean meat, mushrooms and pork liver. When you stir the noodle, the smoke and the chiili smell really wakes up your stomach! Its was flavourful, tasty and everything seems perfect. Honourable mention to the fried pork lard. (It was cut into smaller pieces compared to many which were much bigger.) Extreme fragrant, crispy and fresh! It's like you are never gonna have enough of it! Cheers!

Has been & still one of my favourite bak chor mee in SG. It is different from the usual bah chor mee that most people have tried. It is an original recipe made only by the vendor. The umami taste of the dry bah chor mee is one of my food cravings that I can not resist. The soup version too is also very delicious, imho.

One of my favourite bak chor mee (肉脞面，noodle with mince pork and liver). They have a systematic ordering process to ensure no mistake, almost 6sigma standards. This stall has been on the news several times and owners may retire soon. Enjoy the noodle when it is available.
