Visited on a Wednesday afternoon for late 2pm lunch and the place has ample seating. We’re a group with Singapore-Melaka Nonya heritage. Absolutely love the food and hospitality provided by the Chef and owner! We ordered the Sambal Telur Belimbing, Champor Champor Sayur, Ayam Cili Garam, Telur Cincalok, KangKong Belachan and the cucumber coconut salad (sorry forgot the name). We love the Ayam Cili Garam which tastes very nostalgic like what our Baba Grandpa liked to make regularly. It’s milder and less spicy so people who can’t take too spicy like Chilli Padi will be able to enjoy it too. We love that the Sambal Telur Belimbing is very well balanced. The Belimbing is soft and adds a mouthwatering acidity to this fish roe dish. Folks who are feeling tired will have their appetite whetted. The Champor sayur is also really tasty as the gravy is flavourful and Lemak. We have never tried a version with Bittergourd and was surprised it all went well together. The cincalok omelette arrived piping hot (like all the other freshly made dishes). Everything tastes great with Nasi (including the KangKong belachan) and it’s easy to feel like you could eat more rice there. Fans of old school beverages may also pick up their Ice Cream Soda for nostalgia! Absolutely highly recommend this humble eatery for those who wish to try Chitti Nonya food 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

As a Terengganu born, this chitty nyonya cuisines are a new taste for me. Suprisingly, it suit well to my taste bud. I am truly enjoy the foods with the complexity & balance tastes its offered. A top-notch & must try if you are a foodie & in Malacca town. The owners also super friendly. They go for extra miles & treats us with refreshing cendol & sagoo gula melaka. Thanks Bert & Wen!

For late lunch, tried this authentic Chetti/Chitty cuisine just nearby the hotel in Melaka...a fusion combo of indian, chinese and malay peranakan cusine. Ordered pindang ikan parang, telur cincaluk and ayam cili garam. Something different and quite like the pindang sauce...abit similar taste to indonesian prean curry. #noporknopork
