Singapore｜Guan Kee Fried Kway Teow

Just queued 45min for this 2023 Michelin Bid Gourmand Fried Kway Teow. Every plate is cooked individually making it piping hot with a little wok hei. Delicious!! Best consumed immediately! 😋

One of the must eat dishes I have set if I ever visit this hawker center. Am not wrong as this plate of CKT is now among my top 3 in SG. Luckily my wife stands in q for coming an hr to get this, else I dun think I have the mood to eat in the end. True, the queue is horrible coz they fry it plate by plate so the q moves very slow. On this CKT, I find the chili they use is very unique and therefore u will find it amazing. To enjoy this CKT is to eat there and not packet home. I have ate at the hawker center and also packet some home. I find the taste for packet ones just normal and if less chili, it doesn’t even taste nice. FYI, we came on a Saturday at 8am.

Be prepared to queue up to 1hr during peak hrs. Tasty plate of char kway teow with fish cake, cockles, chinese sausage, bean sprouts and lots of pork lard. Definitely worth a try for char kway teow fans
