Possibly the only Char Kway Teow worth reviewing this corner of Singapore. They are generous with their heavy handed sprinkle of tasty fried pork lard, Chinese sausage and fish cake slices. Cockles are as per normal market rate, small sized, but very obviously they give more cockles than other stalls. The Kway Teow are well fried, not oily (or dry) and evenly covered with eggs. The uncle and auntie manning the stall are very friendly when you make your orders. I ordered 2 takeaway packet of $5 worth of Char Kway Teow and took a LRT to get home 2 stops away. Imagine my awkwardness when the smell permeants the whole LRT carriage and people were looking around to locate the source of the heavenly smell. My 2 kids finished the 2 takeway packets within 15 minutes. Will patronise them again for sure.

Definitely one of the better Char Kway Teow in Singapore. This one is the drier type. The owner can give you fresh cockles on top of your CKT if you ask for it. The lard bits added more flavour to the dish. You also get a couple of pieces of Chinese sausage and fish cakes Strongly recommend if you happen to be in the northern parts of Singapore.

Food was good. Surprisingly good portion for the small sized one. Service was a bit slow, I had already paid and the cook was already informed of my order but he was busy chatting before he finally prepared my order. I would’ve been annoyed if I was in a rush. Other than that, I’m pleased with it. Would return if I was in the area.
