Bought frozen otak-otak fish, sotong & prawn. Cold box provided for 30 pieces and above.

Otaks are must try around Muar. All freshly made and very tasty and moist.

I must admit that the thought of a sliver of otah wrapped in a leaf bun did not seem appealing to me. After all, the leaf buns are normally used to wrap braised pork. But after steaming for 15 mins, one bite and you are hooked. These leaf buns are a little sweeter than the normal ones and the spiciness of the otah is balanced by the surprisingly soft and fluffy dough. The otah itself was sufficiently umami and fishy, with the spiciness not overwhelming the taste of fish. Each packet only had 5 or 6. Should have bought more! Also bought the normal fish, prawn and sotong otah. They were really scrumptious! For this alone, another trip to Muar will be required!
