Singapore｜Fried Carrot Cake

This stall always has a long queue of customers, but I think worth the wait for good carrot cake. The stall is inside the Clementi Food Market. Prepare to wait as it’s very popular. I find the service to be very nice. The aunty was friendly and accommodating despite having to take many people’s orders. Wish they can have the black and white carrot cake combo in 1 order. Enjoyed the both black and white fried carrot cakes. Despite the queue is long, worth the wait (actually not so long I waited). Not too oily and the texture is good. Generous with the eggs too. Mend by youngsters and I would say they did a great job by cooking the food well.

hands down one of my fav carrot cake in sg. sometimes queue is long but it moves fast! been eating since his dad’s days, recent years was taken over by his son and for some time now, he improved a lot and it tastes as good as his dad alr. love the white version, black is a lil too sweet for me. a lil oily but for such a good carrot cake, just work out more for it! recently raised price to minimum $3.50 but portion was generous! they closed on mon and once in awhile he does not open but not sure what’s the reason :( so it’s kind of disappointing as i really craved for this v often. they are close when they sold out so do go before 1pm to avoid another disappointment! sometimes i go ard 12ish and they are done for the day alr. cash and paynow only, no paylah to UEN as explained paylah was still managed by his parents end. hope they will allow grabpay or other qr methods soon.
