Singapore｜Chai Chee Cai Tou Guo

This is my favourite stall at this Food Centre - for its Carrot Cake Strip. A phrase always come to mind whenever I eat the strips of carrot cake - simple pleasures in life. Yet it is not so simple really to make it so deliciously perfect - crispy on the outside and very tender and moist on the inside. While it is deep fried, it is dry and does not feel oily at all, and every bite is filled with the fragrance of turnip.

Got the carrot stick and yam cubes. It's not very salty I guess for healthy eating it's great. It's nice when hot. Since EI bringing home got to heat in oven to get back the crispiness.

Unique stall selling carrot sticks. Very reasonably priced and is a good snack if you are in a rush. Like the process of making it. Quite crispy and tasty.
