Recommended by friend to this ckt. First time in this food centre. Very quiet and not many stalls open. Longest queue is here at this stall. Waited about 20mins with 8pax infront of me. Uncle fries 1 plate at a time but he is quite fast in my opinion. Ordered a $4 medium portion ckt and added an egg for 70cents. I was lucky to get an order with 2 egg yolks in my fried egg. Loved how strong the wok hei is in the noodles and the bits of pork lard mixed in it. Everyone ahead of me ordered with the extra fried egg and I can understand why. The gooey egg yolk mixed with noodles was heaven. Not to be missed. Will definitely be back to eat again.

Queued close to one hour for this fire Char Kway Teow stall ran by two elderly folks. I saw this stall on Youtube which is recommended by a popular local food eater. This kway teow noodle suits my taste bud perfectly because it is not too dry, the black soy sauce is not overpowering sweet. I suggest order $4 for a slightly bigger portion as $3 portion is really small serving. Sunny side up egg add on another 70 cents, but is runny egg yolk and also added with some soy sauce on top (see video). Too bad I didn’t got the double egg yolk! Take note this stall doesn’t include cockles which is perfect for me. The food centre here is relatively spacious and airy. Queuing here is certainly not the most humid experience for sure. Plenty of seatings so no need chop table with tissue packet. Am surprise the people here are friendly for a chit chat about the food. They mentioned usually got no long queue for this stall. Taste is subjective!!! Hope your enjoy it. Do take note of their operation days.

There is no cockles in the dish but it is packed with decent amount of lup cheong and fried pork lard. Super shiok if you like them. I would feel it's well compensated for the absense of cockles and the taste isn't compromised. But if cockles is a must have for you in CKT then this place is probably not for you! Add 70cents to have a sunny side up egg on your CKT. Super lucky to have double yolk for my first visit! Uncle cooks the dish plate by plate so do expect a small wait but the waiting time is ok for me.
