Singapore｜Garden Street Kway Chap (Serangoon Garden)

Probably the best kwaychap! I am not a big fan of kway chap but they changed my perception on how good the delicacy could be! The kway have no smell, the intestines are clean and have no smell, the chap is just nice not too salty. Queue moving slow but worth to wait, go and try yourself.

My favourite kway chap. Tried many stalls. This is the best. The kway was smooth and soft. The soup was soothing and light. The meat and organ meats were tender and delicious. No porky or gamey taste. Very well prepared and cleaned. Expect long queue and waiting time. The meat and organ meats were cut and served only when ordered. It’s worth the wait. No regrets. Definitely will eat again.

Long queues of 15-50 minutes but that has never deterred my fiance and I from buying faithfully every week. The pork is always consistently cooked to a beautiful tender finish, with stomach that do not have a hint of gameyness. (Ruined stomach elsewhere for me to be honest.) Hoping that this hawker store will be here forever. Here's to supporting this place until we grow old!
