The shark porridge we went to eat an hour and a half from Kuala Lumpur in the morning 🤣 had no fishy smell, and the porridge was made from Teochew porridge 🥰 Teochew people know the difference between Cantonese porridge and Teochew porridge ~ The spicy fried shrimps with the porridge are super delicious. The fried shark slices are very refreshing when eaten hot ~ no need for chili sauce, it is fresh on its own ~ delicious😋

We visited on Sunday 12pm, just right before the crowd coming. Order is fast, serving is fast too. Their Shark soup is special, price is reasonable too. Just located at the entrance of Sekinchan, easy to find the location and plenty of parking. Recommended.

Fantastic specialty porridge restaurant with a wide variety of seafood and pork based dishes. Opens pretty early but the food may be a bit more oriented towards lunch. The food was very tasty and had that home-cooked flair to it. It's a no frills establishment but the dishes are unique and the price is right. Ended up spending MYR50 for three people. Ordered the Signature Porridge with seafood, Onion Omelette, and a Sambal stirfried fish/pork. Did not get to try the spicy porridge but it looked fantastic. The restaurant was spacious, airy, had ample parking and an easy to understand picture based menu system mounted on the wall.
