This is one of the oldest Chinese food outlet (dai.chow style) in the neighborhood. It used to be one of the most crowded until other competitors sprung out. The food is generally good and tasty. The downside is that the wait can be quite long over 30 minutes as the kitchen crew is understaffed.

This is an open space chinese restaurant without the use of Aircons. To compensate that the food they serve is great and tasty/delicious. Price reasonable too. Don't mind coming again in the future.

This is a hidden gem. Everything is excellent, but among our favourites are the fishhead curry, home made tofu, and the char siew pork with yam bread. Update: the recipes are changing a little here and sadly the food's become a little too sweet. I'm avoiding the chicken and dry chili stir fry and the Char Siew pork for a while. But the butter prawns and stir fried belachan four fingered beans are magic!
