Singapore｜Xiao Mei Ban Mian (Woodlands) 小妹板面

Read about the good reviews of this place, decided to check out the meals there. Opted for the signature bee hoon soup. Served in a shallow cardboard bowl, the meal had quail eggs, minced pork clumps, toufu cubes, napa cabbage cuts, and topped off with fried shallots and garlic oil. Broth was lightly flavoured, which compliments eating with the ingredients listed above. Worth another visit to try out the Myanmar styled pig organ soup.

I’m a fan of ban mian and I like the springiness of the noodles though the amount is not great… suggest to add noodles for dinner. The minced meat is good too.

Finally I managed to find this stall which have nice meaty fatty meat balls and pork belly soup based or dry. Just don't like the egg. Anyway most of the Kopitiam or Foodcourt Ban Mian are just so so compare to when they first start way back in the mid 90s. 😊. 🙏
