Also come here for their fish soup. I had the healthier brown bee hoon, and I must say the fried fish is macham like fish and chips fish. Crispy outside, fresh fish inside ----- During off peak hours, they have additional items on the menu. The hor fun really has wok hei as it is fried one plate at a time.

This is not the typical ban mian and at reasonable price. I prefer this ban mian soup than other ban mian as this is not oily, its flavourful, the noodle is Q and the best is after i finished all the food, i dont feel thirsty! Must not miss their dry noodle version, the sauce tasted so good, different from other noodle stalls. The fried dumplings were quite nice, crispy (the stall owners allow half half so you can try both types of dumplings). Stall owners are friendly too. This will be a stall i will frequent and i will try their fish soup, cant wait! Update: I have been going there at least once a week. I also tried their red snapper sliced fish soup, its nice. So far the food quality is consistent. update on 4 Aug 2023: tried their stir fry seafood hor fun, good. update on 19 Oct 2023: tried their black bean stir fry seafood hor. it was delicious and have a hint of spiciness. update on 26 Oct 2023: tried their char kway teow. it was simple and nice. their chinese sausages super low fat which i like.

This is no ordinary dry chilli ban mian. The Dry Chilli Ban Mian from Ya Nan comes with a good mix of toppings which include things like fried fish, wonton, meatballs and shredded cabbage. The original version comes with peeled prawns but I’m not a big fan of prawns so they gave me more of the other ingredients instead. The sauce is a wonderful concoction of flavours and the chilli is a must add — slightly crispy with a hint of hae bi and spice. But the MVP in this bowl is the fried fish which is super crispy, thick and fresh! Do follow me on Instagram @littlemissramensg for more food reviews!
